By placing an order on Atelier you agree to these terms. They are written in plain language on purpose — no dark patterns, no arbitration clauses hidden in the footer.

Orders are contracts between you and the individual maker. Atelier acts as an agent, handling payment, logistics, and customer support on their behalf.

Prices are set by each maker and shown in euros including VAT for EU customers. Shipping is calculated at checkout based on destination and volume.

Cancellations are accepted within 14 days of delivery for a full refund, provided the piece is unused and in original packaging. Custom commissions are non-refundable once production begins.

We collect only what's needed to process your order: name, shipping address, email, and payment details (handled entirely by our payment processor — we never see your card number).

We do not run analytics, retargeting pixels, or any third-party scripts on this site. There is no cookie banner because there are no non-essential cookies.

Order data is retained for seven years to comply with EU tax law. You may request deletion of your account and marketing preferences at any time by email.

We never sell customer data. We never share it with advertisers. The only third parties who see it are the payment processor, the shipping carrier, and the maker fulfilling your order.

Every piece ships flat where physically possible. This cuts shipping volume by roughly half and keeps costs down without compromising the furniture.

Standard delivery within the EU is 5–10 working days. Larger pieces (tables, bed frames) ship via freight and take 2–3 weeks.

Shipping is calculated at checkout. Orders over €500 ship free within the EU. Freight delivery includes in-home placement for large items.

You'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order leaves the maker's workshop.

You have 14 days from delivery to return any piece for a full refund. No questions asked, no restocking fee.

Return shipping is free within the EU for pieces under 30kg. For larger pieces we arrange a pickup — the cost is deducted from your refund.

Custom commissions and made-to-order pieces are non-refundable once production has started. This is clearly marked on the product page before you order.

If a piece arrives damaged, email us a photo within 48 hours and we'll repair or replace it at no cost.
